Davis will skip reunion on Sunday
So much for the long-awaited return of Baron Davis to Oakland this weekend.

The Clippers announced that Davis, who has been out since Dec. 31 with a bruised tailbone, won't be making the trip north for Sunday's game. Davis reportedly strained his hamstring Tuesday.

Crawford sits: Golden State's unofficial one-in, one-out policy continued Friday with guards Jamal Crawford and Monta Ellis essentially swapping places on the inactive list.

Crawford was a late scratch with a right hamstring contusion, which team officials said was sustained during Wednesday's loss to Oklahoma City.

Crawford, who played virtually every minute of the last five games - averaging 27.5 points and 5.5 assists during that span - had practiced Thursday and went through pre-game warm-ups Friday before being ruled out.

More injury updates: The Warriors said forward Brandan Wright was re-evaluated this week and is at least two weeks away from returning. Wright dislocated his left shoulder Jan. 7.

Meanwhile, guard Marco Belinelli had an MRI exam on his sprained right ankle this week that also indicated a bone bruise in the area. Golden State said Belinelli, who was injured Jan. 14, will miss a minimum of at least one more week.

Briefly: With Crawford out, coach Don Nelson started Ellis and rookie Anthony Morrow in the backcourt and went small with Stephen Jackson , Kelenna Azubuike and Andris Biedrins up front. ... The Warriors have a decision to make on forward Jermareo Davidson, whose second 10-day contract expires today. Golden State must either sign him for the rest of the season or let him go.
