Golden State Warriors Notes, Quotes 2008-11-17
--G Monta Ellis was a surprise visitor to the team's practice on Friday, greeting coaches and joking with teammates.

Ellis was moving around without a limp, and he is scheduled to begin working out on the court during Thanksgiving week.

Ellis is serving a 30-game suspension after sustaining a left ankle injury in an offseason moped accident.

--C Andris Biedrins had 17 points and 16 rebounds against the Clippers, giving him 10 consecutive double-doubles to start the season.

--G Stephen Jackson had 10 assists on Saturday, the first time this season a player has had double-figures in assists. Last season, Baron Davis had 10 or more assists 20 times for the Warriors.

QUOTE TO NOTE: "I've been in the league for 30 years and I have never seen a performance like that. After only two months of training camp, he just had the game of a lifetime, and I am very happy for him." -- Coach Don Nelson, on rookie Anthony Morrow's 37-point outing against the Clippers.
