--The Warriors lost to the Bulls in Oakland for the second consecutive year after having beaten them at Oracle Arena eight times in succession. --Bulls forward Drew Gooden, who attended high school about 20 miles north of Oakland in El Cerrito, Calif., had 18 points and 16 rebounds in his annual homecoming.

--The Warriors failed to take full advantage of a 17-day stretch in which they never left the state of California, going 4-4. They now hit the road for eight of their next nine, including a five-game Eastern swing that tips off Sunday in Philadelphia.
--The Warriors expect to get Friday trade acquisition Jamal Crawford in uniform for Game 2 of the trip, Tuesday's visit to Washington. He will get an almost immediate reunion with his ex-teammates when Golden State enters Madison Square Garden to tackle the Knicks next Saturday.
