Golden State Warriors Notes, Quotes 2009-02-08
--The Warriors and Suns split games in their home-and-home series Wednesday and Friday, with Golden State winning 124-112 at home to start the sequence and Phoenix getting even 115-105 in the rematch.

--The Warriors have only one home-and-home on their schedule this season. They had two -- and split them both (against the Nuggets and Lakers) -- last season.

--The Warriors fell to 5-23 on the road. They ended the night tied with Sacramento for the most road losses in the league.

--The Warriors have lost 10 of their last 11 road games, giving up 107 or more points in all but one of the defeats.

--The home team has won each of the last nine games played between the Warriors and Suns.

--The Warriors don't leave the state of California again during the month of February. They will play six of their next seven games at home, with the only road game being in Los Angeles against the Clippers.

QUOTE TO NOTE: "(Friday night) our defense was way worse than the other night when we beat them." -- Stephen Jackson, on the 22-point turnaround from Wednesday's 12-point win over Phoenix to Friday's 10-point loss to the Suns.
