--The Warriors suited up only nine players for their 114-108 loss at Cleveland on Tuesday. Two of the nine -- Raja Bell and Ronny Turiaf -- were injured and would have played only in an emergency. NBA rules require eight players to be in uniform for a game. --F Vladimir Radmanovic, who was acquired along with Bell in the Monday trade that sent Stephen Jackson and Acie Law to Charlotte, not only debuted as a Warrior but did so as a starter. He played 34 minutes, firing up seven shots in his first 18 minutes. He finished with 11 points. --One of the missing Warriors was C.J. Watson, who returned to Oakland after Saturday's game in Milwaukee and subsequently was diagnosed as having the swine flu.
--The 114 points allowed by the Warriors was a season high for the Cavaliers.
--The Jackson trade will save the Warriors about $21 million. Bell and Law have contracts that expire after this season, and Radmanovic will earn $6.9 million next season. The Bobcats will take on full responsibility for the $27.8 million owed Jackson over the next three seasons.
QUOTE TO NOTE: "As great as we played -- the Warriors hadn't been in the playoffs in 13 years -- if you want to break that team up, obviously winning is not your priority." -- Stephen Jackson, traded Monday by the Warriors to Charlotte, on the breakup of the "We Believe" team that surprised Western top seed Dallas in the 2007 playoffs.
