Golden State Warriors Notes, Quotes 2009-11-20

Golden State Warriors Notes, Quotes 2009-11-20--The Warriors concluded their first five-game Eastern swing of the season with a 1-4 record after Wednesday's loss at Boston. The lone win came at New York.

--The Warriors will make two other five-game trips this season -- to Oklahoma City, New Jersey, Chicago, Detroit and Philadelphia in December, and to Miami, Orlando, Atlanta, Charlotte and New Orleans in March.

--At 3-8, the Warriors already are two games behind last year's 29-win pace.

--The Warriors were outscored 31-19 in the decisive third quarter against the Celtics. It was the sixth time in their eight losses that the Warriors have been outscored by at least eight points in the third period. The average score in those periods: Opponent 34, Warriors 21.

QUOTE TO NOTE: "We're hungry. We want to win really bad. We have the pieces in place right now; we just got to get some healthy bodies back and just play a full game." -- Stephen Curry, seeing a silver lining in simply being competitive in losses to Cleveland and Boston on Tuesday and Wednesday.
