--The Warriors' 130-97 loss Saturday was their fourth in a row to the Lakers in Oakland and sixth straight to their rivals from the south overall. --The Warriors attracted their largest crowd of the young season (20,001) and their second sellout in six home games. --The game ended a stretch in which the Warriors played the Cavaliers, Celtics, Trail Blazers, Mavericks, Spurs and Lakers, teams that ended play Saturday with a combined record of 68-30. The Warriors went 2-4 in those games.
--The Warriors have been told they can retain NBA Developmental League call-up Chris Hunter through Thursday, then would have to petition for another hardship case in order to get him for another two weeks. NBA rules state if a team has four or more players who are expected to miss at least two weeks, it can use a 16th roster spot to sign a player to a two-week contract. The Warriors currently have Brandan Wright, Kelenna Azubuike, Raja Bell and Speedy Claxton out of action for well longer than the two-week requirement.
QUOTE TO NOTE: "What hurts the most is that it was in front of our home fans." -- Corey Maggette, on the most disappointing aspect of Saturday's 130-97 home loss to the Lakers.
