Golden State Warriors Notes, Quotes 2009-02-12
--The Warriors ran their home winning streak to three -- a season-best -- with the 144-127 win over the Knicks.

--The Warriors' point total was not only a season high but also an NBA season high for a regulation game, surpassing the 139 scored by Orlando against the Kings on Jan. 13.

--The 271 total points scored in the game also was an NBA season high for a regulation game.

--The win avenged a 138-125 loss at New York on Nov. 29, a game in which the Warriors allowed their season high for points in a regulation contest.

--The Warriors scored 41 points in the first quarter and 40 in the third period. It was the first time they'd had a pair of 40-point quarters in the same game since accomplishing the feat Feb. 15, 1992 against Seattle.

--The Warriors shot a season-best 55.3 percent from the field.

--The Warriors had eight double-figure scorers for the first time since April 8, 2003 against Utah.

--The Warriors went 21:29 in one stretch without committing a turnover and had a total of just eight in the game.

--The Warriors are now 5-5 since Monta Ellis returned to the lineup. They were 13-30 while he was recovering from off-season ankle surgery.

QUOTE TO NOTE: "From top to bottom, we are a very talented team, one of the most talented teams in the NBA." -- Anthony Randolph, who squeezed 12 points, seven rebounds and two blocked shots into 14 action-packed minutes Tuesday.
