
--When told the Warriors would like to see him put weight on his 197-pound frame, newly drafted Anthony Randolph responded: "I don't put on weight. I just get stronger."

--The Warriors did address their chief need -- interior offense and defense -- with their second-round pick, taking Alabama power forward Richard Hendrix. The 6-foot-9, 255-pounder led the Southeastern Conference in rebounding last season with 10.1 per game while also contributing 17.8 points and 1.9 blocked shots. He was the 49th overall selection of the draft.
--Randolph has requested No. 4, Hendrix No. 35.
--While he had until June 30 to make his decision, Baron Davis let it slip he would not be opting out of the final year of his Warriors contract. He will be paid $17.8 million in the final year of the deal.
