--The Warriors' home win Thursday over the Portland allowed them to retain the eighth playoff position in the Western Conference, while at the same time picking up a game on No. 7 Dallas. The Mavericks (45-27), Warriors (44-27) and Nuggets (44-28) are now separated by just one game.

--The Warriors split the season series with the Trail Blazers despite having lost at Portland in their first two meetings.

--The Warriors have now beaten Portland six consecutive times in Oakland.

--The Warriors have alternated wins and losses in their last nine games. They have not lost back-to-back games since Jan 2-4.

--The Warriors are now 19-0 this season and have won their last 31 games in which the opponent scored fewer than 100 points.

--The Warriors have scored 100 or more points in 35 consecutive games.

--The Warriors out-rebounded the Trail Blazers 46-41 and improved to 19-4 when out-boarding their opponent.

--The Warriors rallied to win after trailing by 14 in the first quarter. Sixteen of their 44 wins this season have come in games in which they trailed by at least 10 at one point.

--The Warriors were once again without reserve swingman Mickael Pietrus, who is out with a groin injury. Pietrus did not make the trip to Denver for Saturday's showdown.
