ROTATION: Starters -- Point guard DeMarcus Nelson, Shooting guard Stephen Jackson, Small forward Corey Maggette, Power forward Al Harrington, Center Andris Biedrins. Bench -- Guard C.J. Watson, Guard Marco Belinelli, Guard/forward Kelenna Azubuike, Forward Brandan Wright, Forward Anthony Randolph, Center Ronny Turiaf.
PLAYER NOTES: --F Corey Maggette left the Warriors' loss at Memphis on Monday late in the first quarter to have his sore hamstring examined in the locker room. He did not return until after halftime and clearly wasn't himself, shooting 4-for-16 and getting to the free throw line just five times.
--C Andris Biedrins recorded his fourth double-double in four games, with 16 points and 22 rebounds. He has 11 consecutive double-doubles dating to last season, the longest current streak in the league.
--F Anthony Randolph made his NBA debut with 1:27 remaining in the game and did absolutely nothing -- no shots, rebounds or fouls.
--F Rob Kurz was the only Warrior in uniform who did not get into the game. Make no mistake about it: The Notre Dame product was just happy to be there. Kurz was the Warriors' last cut in training camp but was brought back Sunday when Monta Ellis became eligible to be placed on the suspended list.
MEDICAL WATCH:
--G Monta Ellis (ankle) is likely to miss the first two months of the season after surgery to repair the damage suffered in a moped accident. The Warriors have suspended Ellis for the first 26 games (through Dec. 17) of the regular season for having violated terms of his contract.
--F Corey Maggette (hamstring) felt his hamstring stiffen in the first quarter of Monday's loss at Memphis and was taken to the locker room for an examination. He was deemed OK to play again in the second half, but clearly was still in some pain after the game. He likely will try to play Wednesday at home against Denver.
