ROTATION: Starters -- Point guard Jamal Crawford, Shooting guard Monta Ellis, Small forward Stephen Jackson, Power forward Kelenna Azubuike, Center Ronny Turiaf. Bench -- Guard C.J. Watson, Guard Anthony Morrow, Forward Corey Maggette, Forward Anthony Randolph.
PLAYER NOTES: --F Stephen Jackson, who had a triple-double in his previous home game, nearly did it again Sunday in the Warriors' win over Utah with 20 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists. It was the third time in the last four games he's recorded at least 10 rebounds and/or assists. That only occurred twice in the Warriors' first 58 contests.
--G C.J. Watson has lost the most minutes of any Warrior since Monta Ellis returned from his ankle injury. Since playing 49 minutes against Sacramento on Jan. 14, Watson had been called upon for more than 18 minutes just four times. Sunday was one of those times. After getting a total of just 27 minutes in his previous two games, Watson played 22 minutes off the bench against the Jazz and contributed 14 points and five assists. The point total was his highest since the Sacramento game.
--G Monta Ellis hit more than half his shots (six of 11) for the first time in his nine games this season. Ellis entered Sunday's game shooting just 35.6 percent.
--C Ronny Turiaf made the most of a rare start, scoring 13 points, his most since having 14 against the Celtics on Dec. 26. Turiaf played 36 minutes -- his seventh consecutive game with 20 or more minutes after never having had a streak of more than three such games before that. Surprisingly, he did not block a shot Sunday, which ended a nine-game streak with at least one.
MEDICAL WATCH:
--C Andris Biedrins (ankle) is out at least through the All-Star break after spraining his right ankle in the third quarter of Friday's loss at Phoenix. X-rays were negative.
--F Brandan Wright (shoulder) is definitely out through the All-Star break and possibly into March as he recovers from a partially dislocated left shoulder suffered Jan. 7 against the Lakers.
--G Marco Belinelli (ankle) could return to practice in the next week or two, during which the Warriors play only one road game. He has been out since bruising his right ankle Jan. 11 against the Pacers.
