Golden State Warriors Roster Report 2009-11-08

Golden State Warriors Roster Report 2009-11-08ROTATION: Starters -- Point guard Stephen Curry, Shooting guard Monta Ellis, Small forward Kelenna Azubuike, Power forward Stephen Jackson, Center Mikki Moore. Bench -- Guard C.J. Watson, Guard Acie Law, Guard Anthony Morrow, Forward Corey Maggette, Center Anthony Randolph.

PLAYER NOTES:

--G Stephen Curry looked out of place for the first time in his four-game Warriors career Friday when having to defend the Clippers' Eric Gordon. Giving up significant height and weight in the matchup, Curry drew two early fouls, then a third almost immediately after returning to the game. Gordon finished with 25 points on 8-for-12 shooting.

--C Mikki Moore did more bad than good in his 19 minutes as a first-time starting center. Replacing injured Andris Biedrins and Ronny Turiaf, Moore had five rebounds, including three on the offensive boards, but missed both his shots, committed four fouls and turned the ball over three times.

--C Anthony Randolph got an opportunity to play his way out of coach Don Nelson's doghouse in the blowout, getting in 29 minutes. Incredibly, he missed his first 10 shots, but then came on strong against Clippers reserves in the fourth quarter to finish with 13 points and 14 rebounds.

--F Stephen Jackson, trying to play his way onto another team, failed to hit half his shots for the fourth consecutive game. His shooting performances have been remarkably similar -- 7-for-16, 6-for-13, 7-for-16 and 6-for-14. His season shooting percentage is 44.1 percent.

MEDICAL WATCH:

--F Brandan Wright (torn labrum) underwent surgery Oct. 9. His recovery time is estimated to be six months, so there's a good chance he won't play at all in 2009-10.

--C Andris Biedrins (sore back) tweaked his back late in Wednesday's win over the Grizzlies. He wanted to play Friday, but was held out as a precautionary measure. He is probable to return Sunday against the Kings.

--C Ronny Turiaf (sprained left knee) missed a second consecutive game Friday after suffering the injury in the fourth quarter of last Friday's loss at Phoenix. An MRI revealed no damage and he could return within a week.

--F Devean George (sore left knee) has yet to see action in the regular season. His injury is not considered serious.
