--G Monta Ellis experienced a personal rarity in Wednesday's win over the Nets, going to the bench twice in the same game. Ellis, who had played 108 consecutive minutes entering the game, got a 4:28 breather in the second quarter, then was pulled for the final 16 seconds of the blowout. He finished with 43 minutes played, the 12th time he's gone at least 40 minutes in the last 15 games.

--F Anthony Morrow returned to the starting lineup after missing consecutive games while attending a family funeral in North Carolina. Actually, Morrow had planned to rejoin the team in time for Monday's game at Oklahoma City, but an unexpected five-hour delay during his stopover in Detroit prevented him from getting to the arena until just as the game was ending. He was able to join the team on its charter flight to New Jersey.

--C Mikki Moore had arguably his best game of the season, contributing 16 points and seven rebounds to the win. The point total was a season-best, topping the 13 he scored at Milwaukee on Nov. 14.

--G C.J. Watson returned to the bench with Morrow back, and he responded with a difference-making performance. He had five of the team's season-best 17 steals and also hit eight of 14 shots, including a couple of three-pointers, in an 18-point effort. He's now scored in double-figures in six consecutive games, a stretch that began with an 18-pointer against the Pacers on Nov. 30.

MEDICAL WATCH:

--F Brandan Wright (torn labrum) underwent surgery Oct. 9. His recovery time is estimated to be six months, so there's a good chance he won't play at all in 2009-10.

--C Ronny Turiaf (sore left knee) is traveling with the Warriors this week and probably will return to action before the end of the five-game venture. He has missed the last five games.

--C Andris Biedrins (strained groin and abdominal muscles) hasn't played since Nov. 7. He was evaluated Nov. 30 and told he could miss up to another three weeks. That said, he is with the team on its eight-day trip, so it's possible he could play during that stretch.

--F Kelenna Azubuike (torn patella tendon) had surgery and will miss the rest of the season.

--G Raja Bell (torn wrist ligament) had surgery Dec. 3. His left arm will be in a cast for six weeks and it's expected he will miss another six weeks on top of that. That schedule could have him ready to play by March, which means the Warriors might be able to use his expiring contract in a deal before the trade deadline in February.

--G Speedy Claxton (knee) is unlikely to play this season.
