--G Monta Ellis went the distance for the fifth time this season in Saturday's loss at Detroit. He has averaged 46.3 minutes in the four games of the Warriors' current road trip. At the end of play Saturday, he ranked second in the league to Portland's Brandon Roy in minutes played.

--F Anthony Morrow doesn't slump often, but he's in one now. After missing the first game of the Warriors' trip, he's shot 6-for-25 in his last three outings. His previous worst three-game stretch this season was Nov. 11-14, when he shot a combined 6-for-17 at Indiana, New York and Milwaukee. He rebounded that time to hit at least half his shots in three of the next four games.

--C Chris Hunter got nine minutes of action after having never left the bench in the previous two games. One of the differences in coaching strategy between Don Nelson and Keith Smart is their use of Hunter. Since joining the team Nov. 20 out of the NBA Developmental League, he has gotten into every game Nelson has coached. Under Smart, he has sat out entire games three times.

--G Stephen Curry lived up to his vow to get to the free-throw line more often, going 6-for-6 Saturday. He had averaged just 1.6 attempts in his first 22 games.

MEDICAL UPDATE:

--F Brandan Wright (torn labrum) underwent surgery Oct. 9. His recovery time is estimated to be six months, so there's a good chance he won't play at all in 2009-10.

--C Ronny Turiaf (sore left knee) is traveling with the Warriors this week and might return to action before the end of the five-game venture Monday in Philadelphia. He has missed the last seven games.

--C Andris Biedrins (strained groin and abdominal muscles) hasn't played since Nov. 7. He was evaluated Nov. 30 and told he could miss up to another three weeks. That said, he is with the team on its eight-day journey, so it's possible he could play before Monday's trip finale.

--F Kelenna Azubuike (torn patella tendon) had surgery and will miss the rest of the season.

--G Raja Bell (torn wrist ligament) had surgery Dec. 3. His left arm will be in a cast for six weeks and it's expected he will miss another six weeks on top of that. That schedule could have him ready to play by March, which means the Warriors might be able to use his expiring contract in a deal before the trade deadline in February.

--G Speedy Claxton (knee) is unlikely to play this season.
