Rookie Randolph fires his 'great agent'

Rookie Randolph fires his 'great agent'
In the middle of a rocky rookie season, Anthony Randolph has fired agent B.J. Armstrong .

"My people and I decided it was the best for me," said Randolph, who spent time with his family in Dallas on the road trip. "B.J.'s a great agent, but we decided this was best."

Randolph filed the official paperwork last week and said he is in the process of selecting a new agent. Armstrong, an ex-NBA player, also represents No. 1 pick Derrick Rose .

Earlier this season, Warriors coach Don Nelson reportedly told Randolph to tell his agent to look into trades because things weren't working out in Golden State. Nelson has disputed the report.

Technically speaking: Andris Biedrins picked up his first technical foul of the season after talking back to referee Joey Crawford in the second quarter, but it was Nelson who was most upset with Crawford, whom the coach accused of goading Biedrins into his "T."

Biedrins' technical foul - the second of his career - came 19 seconds after Stephen Jackson was whistled for a tech for hanging on the rim after a dunk.

Jackson now has 12 technicals this season, though 11 count toward his official total in terms of earning a league suspension.

Players are allowed 16 technicals before they are suspended one-game for every other ensuing tech.

Azubuike out: Swingman Kelenna Azubuike was a late scratch with left knee tendinitis that began bothering him in New Orleans on Friday.

Azubuike, who was walking gingerly around the locker room, said he hoped to be back for Monday's home game against San Antonio. He had started the last seven games.
