Warriors have succeeded in eliminating all expectations! Yay!
ESPN The Magazine released its seventh annual Ultimate Standings, which measure how 122 teams in the four major U.S. sports fare in "paying back fans for their investment of time, money and passion."

In the category of Title Track the team's dedication to winning championships your Golden State Warriors ranked 122nd. Congratulations, Chris Cohan and management team. It took 15 long, hard years, but all expectations have been destroyed.

Overall, the six-category system leaves the Warriors with room to fall; they came in 109th thanks to a very generous 66th-place finish in "bang for the buck." And amazingly enough, 10 owners were considered worse than Cohan.

The Sharks led the way in the Bay Area at No. 32, way ahead of the Giants (84), 49ers (87), A's (101), Warriors (109) and Raiders (116). The Angels ranked first and the Clippers last.

Somewhat related note: On Twitter this week, the Lakers' Jeanie Buss responded to a fan inquiry by saying the NBA champions wouldn't raise ticket prices. Let's see: Twitter, giving a fan a direct response, winning an NBA title and not increasing ticket prices. Robert Rowell couldn't fathom doing any one of those things, let alone all four at the same time.
