C.J. Watson 's impressive play is being interrupted by a bum toe.
Watson, coming off a career-high 26-point outing against the Kings on Wednesday, sat out Friday's game against Atlanta with a sprained left big toe that finally became too painful to play through. "I'm thinking it's day-to-day," said Watson, who is awaiting the results of an MRI exam.
The Warriors' backup said the injury occurred about a week ago. Watson is already playing with a torn elbow ligament that could require surgery after the season.
Hand cuffed: Corey Maggette 's 4-for-12 outing from the free-throw line Wednesday can be traced to a bad shooting hand.
Maggette, whose knuckles were noticeably swollen before the Hawks game, said he injured his hand Sunday and banged it again early against the Kings.
"It's disappointing because you know you can make it," said Maggette, an 82-percent foul shooter. "It's still jacked, but there's nothing you can do but keep shooting."
And be happy it's not his hamstring bothering him. "That's the good thing," Maggette said. "I just tape it up and go."
Minutes men: Jamal Crawford became the fourth NBA player to log more than 60 minutes in a game with his 60-minute, triple-overtime epic against the Kings.
The others: Shawn Marion 60, Jan. 2, 2006, Jalen Rose 61, Mar. 13, 2001 and Vince Carter 63, Feb. 23, 2001.
